Video: Mike Green Slap Shot Hits Josh Gorges in the Head - Feb 10th 2010

Ouch! I was watching this game between the Washington Capitals and the Montreal Canadiens and saw this play. Mike Green took a shot from the point that caught Habs Josh Gorges. Gorges took it in the head trying to block the shot.

Good to see him get up. He didn't return of course, and word was passed down that Gorges was in stable condition. As a side note, the Canadiens won 6-5 in overtime snapping Washington's win streak.
