Eight games last night in the National Hockey League.

Pittsburgh 0, New Jersey 2 Surprise, Brodeur got his 105th shutout
Philadelphia 6, Rangers 0 What's up with all the shutouts?
Montreal 2, Tampa Bay 1 Habs win in overtime
Colorado 4, Ottawa 3
L.A. Kings 1, Calgary 2
Toronto 1, Edmonton 3
Washington 2, San Jose 5

The win by the Devils gives them 57 points so far this season, so they are tied with the San Jose Sharks for the overall lead in the NHL. The Sharks beat up on the Capitals and won their 6th straight.
The Bruins win opens up a little breathing room over the Ottawa Senators. Boston has 47 points (five back of the Sabres), and the Senators are now three back of Boston but the Bruins have a game in hand on Alfredsson's crew. The Habs are still lurking just a point behind the Sens.
Philly won last night, but the Flyers, Rangers and Islanders are all fighting it out for last place in the Atlantic Division, at least 13 points back of the Penguins, let along the high flying Devils.
Even with the loss to the Sharks, the Capitals are still way out front in the Southeast Division, 14 points up on Atlanta and Tampa who are tied with 40 points. The Kings loss to Calgary was their 4th straight.
