Canadiens Beat Coyotes 4-2
Montreal scored 3 times in the 3rd to beat the Phoenix Coyotes 4-2 in Glendale, Arizona. The Habs had been struggling on their power play, but the struggling Coyotes were the right tonic as the Canadiens went 2 for 2 with the extra man.
Montreal's Michael Cammalleri scored his 8th goal to open the scoring on a nifty pass from Tomas Plekanec at 7:07 of the first. That goal ties Cammalleri with Brian Gionta for the team lead. Plekanec leads the Habs in points with 17, one up on Cammalleri. Robert Lang's 4th of the season tied the game halfway through the 1st. Marc-Andre Bergeron put Montreal up with some sweet moves at the blue line flying up to the Coyotes' goalie Ilya Bryzgalov who slipped to 9-6 for the season with this loss. The Canadiens' goaltender, Carey Price improved to a still mediocre 4-7 with the win. Plekanec tallied 3 assists in the game and Bergeron also had 2 assists to go along with his goal.
